Open your dominant hand wide — all five fingers spread, thumb out. Bring your thumb to your chin and tap twice.

That's MOTHER.

It's the same handshape as FATHER (that one lands on the forehead). Chin = mom. Forehead = dad. Hard to mix up once you know.
